A Mother Rose Up

A mother rose up…  Judges 5:7 When Israel was at the bottom, God gave them Deborah as a judge, a leader and the one who brought about freedom from oppression. Deborah described this as a mother who rose up in Israel. This is not contrary to Biblical teaching. It is one example of many where women rise up as mothers, a strong concept in Hebrew that describes her role as leader, teacher, defender and more in a family, in a community, a business, nation and more.
