Not only does G-d give blessings, but G-d Himself is a blessing. Exodus 34:67a tell us, And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, long suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,  keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin,….

Can you imagine these blessings flowing from our G-d to us moment by moment? It is an amazing thought. He also provides our physical needs. He gives us food and water, and clothing. He gives us abilities to work, and He surrounds us with the beauties of the sky, the clouds, the oceans and rivers and trees and flowers. His blessings surround us.  Blessings pour through G-d. G-d is a giver. His desire is to bless.

Then the question becomes, are blessings flowing through us? Are we open-ended vessels, or are we vessels that just take and never give?  As disciples of Yeshua, we want to be like Him. He gave everywhere He went, and ultimately gave His life.  He encourages us to do the same, saying, for whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.

Abraham, the father of our faith, spent his life blessing others. Even recuperating from his circumcision, he ran to serve others, not thinking of his pain, he began preparations for a big dinner, and after that he even accompanied the strangers to their destination. Abraham blessed others with his life.

Blessings are meant to be shared, just as G-d shares His goodness with us every day. When G-d blesses you and you bless others, you become a connector of heaven and earth. As you pour out, He pours more in. We cannot out-give G-d; He is the giver of all good gifts.

Is there someone you can bless today?
